Slaughda Biography

Coming from the infamous city of Miami(FL), a place where raw hip hop talent is usually overlooked, arises a hot new rap artist who goes by the name of Slaughda. Although the name may bring many different images to mind, Slaughda maintains that the meaning of his name is symbolic of the way he attacks the tracks he raps over. His lyrical delivery is one of ferociousness, energy and originality. He has what rap music needs; a signature sound.

Born and raised in Miami(CC), Slaughda began rapping in 1995. His early influences were rap artists such as Tupac, Soulja Slim, and Scarface among others. He brings a variety of club, political and reality based songs to the rap game. Slaughda's philosophy is his unique sound separates him from all competition as well as comparisons to other artists. Slaughda has performed at various shows and functions with local talent agency The Miami Pipeline.

Slaughda recently formed a hard hitting new super group Slaughda House Official along with Tiger and Clip (formerly known as CBT), and will be releasing a debut compilation album titled "Welcome 2 Da Slaughda House" the third quarter of 2007. He then plans a number of other releases through his Slaughda House imprint in the near future. Tiger and Clip have solo and group efforts they are also in the process of recording. When asked to describe Slaughda in three words his response was ambitious, original, and unstoppable.



Tiger Biography

Keeping his head above the water and his feet out of the fire took him through 20 years of hard times and some enjoyable ones. He is known as Tiger, the beast lives within him and now he is hunting for a meal. He is hungry for a taste of this rap game and when he gets a bite he will devour it. It’s been pretty rough growing up but he doesn’t dwell on the past. He chooses not to because he realizes there is always someone who had it worse than he did. Rap is his way of expressing himself and getting steam off of his chest. Metaphors and punch-lines flow into his mind like a wild river down the stream. He is very aggressive and knows how to stand his ground and take what’s his. He is very competitive and seeks a challenge whenever, however and against whoever. He is not the type to settle for second.

He grew up on the money hungry streets of Miami Dade County in the Liberty City area. He started writing poems at the age of 10 which eventually evolved into rapping by the age of 12. Looking up and listening to Tupac, DMX, Soulja Slim, C-murder and a few other real rappers, made him tap into his talent and realize he could do it too. In no time Tiger and Jay-Clip (his brother from another mother) hooked up on the rap tip. They then formed the group that became known as CBT or City Bound Thugs. The two had no problem connecting because they were both real, real recognize real and they were already tight to death.

He met Slaughda around his middle school years and another connection grew. Tiger was years younger but was very wise for his age. Slaughda found out that Tiger could spit aside from the hood stuff they were already into so they started rapping together. Tiger introduced Slaughda and Jay-Clip and it was another real recognize real connection. Soon after that connection turned into the beginning of Slaughda House the group which is now Slaughda House Records the label.



 Young Malice Biography 

Young Malice was born and raised in the ferocious streets of Liberty City, Miami, an area known for its notorious drug manufacturing, brutal slayings and poverty stricken residents. As a child Malice idolized rappers such as Tupac, Soulja Slim, B.G. and J.T. Money whom all spit gangster lyrics which he could relate to. Malice began to write and perform songs at the age of 12. He picked up the habit from his older brother Greed, an aspiring rapper who is currently doing a 6 year bid. His brother Greed was his greatest influence as they would free style and spit on tracks together. In the year of 2000 Malice really begin to take his talent to new heights with his long term friend Tiger. They began lacing tracks and handing out demos to create a buzz. Later they came in contact with Slaughda whom they ran the streets with before rapping so when it came to rapping he took to them instantly.

Young Malice's style is versatile; he is able to manipulate his music in anyway. He has the ability to addresses social issues, political issues and/or just life in the streets of Miami. His songs and unique style defines his character and adaptability. That’s what he says separates him form the rest of the crowd. When asked what are you in it for he replied “to stand for something”, meaning be a positive individual somebody that others can look up to when they need help and to basically give back to the urban communities.
